Pocketparks, a St. Louis-based nonprofit that launched this year with a focus on turning unused, vacant urban plots of land into small-scale parks, is teaming up with several other local organizations on a new project in north city.
Those behind the project plan to develop a new green space on a vacant lot at 5900 Clemens Ave. The vacant lot, approximately 8,900 square feet in size, is located in the city’s West End neighborhood and just north of Delmar Blvd.
